Choosing a surgeon for fat removal
Credentials, technique, and the photos that tell the truth.

For any fat-removal procedure with a surgical component, the operator is the variable that matters most, and the one patients most often shortchange while chasing price.
Start with board certification in plastic surgery or dermatologic surgery, an accredited facility, and a track record with the specific procedure and area you want treated. Review real before-and-after galleries of the surgeon's own patients, paying attention to smoothness and symmetry, not just fat reduction, uneven liposuction leaves rippling and divots that are hard to fix. Ask how they handle skin laxity and what their plan is if the skin does not redrape.
Established cosmetic practices tend to document their credentials, techniques, and outcomes openly; that openness is exactly the kind of transparency a prospective patient should look for. A surgeon who explains their approach in specifics and sets honest expectations is worth far more than the lowest quote.
